Meet Melissa
I’ve spent the last two decades working in marketing and design across hospitality, lifestyle and creative businesses - everything from hotel and spa to interiors, tech and events. Over the years, I’ve realised that what most brands want isn’t a huge, complicated marketing plan. They want someone who understands their world, can see the bigger picture, and can help them put the right things in place without the overwhelm.
My approach is very hands-on. I like getting to know how a business actually works day to day, what matters to you, and where things could feel clearer, calmer or more consistent. Sometimes that looks like tightening up your content, refreshing your website, or planning your marketing in a way that feels achievable. Other times it’s supporting your team, shaping campaigns or creating the pieces your brand needs to feel put together.
Before freelancing, I led marketing for a luxury country estate and award-winning wedding and events venues, so I understand the pace of hospitality and the details that matter the guest journey, the tone of voice, the quiet touches that make a brand feel considered. I bring all that experience with me, but in a very down-to-earth way.
